Lead Teacher (Infant, Toddler, Preschool)

Pay Range: $15.50 – $19/hr

Age Groups: Infants (6 weeks+), Toddlers, Preschoolers

Description: Leads the classroom with daily lesson planning, developmental activities, and safety routines. Tracks children’s progress, manages classroom environment, communicates with parents, and ensures compliance with DCFS standards

Teacher’s Aide /

Classroom Helper

Pay Range: $13 – $15/hr​

​

Age Groups: Toddlers & Preschool (most common), but may assist across all ages

​

​Description: Entry-level role. Prepares snacks, sanitizes toys, organizes classroom supplies, and assists teachers with daily activities. Provides extra supervision during play and transitions.

Assistant Teacher

Pay Range: $14 – $17/hr​

​

Age Groups: Works under Lead Teachers in any classroom

​Description: Supports classroom instruction, helps with diapering, meals, and group activities. Provides one-on-one support, keeps classrooms organized, and assists with parent communication as needed.

Transportation Driver

Pay Range: $15 – $17/hr​

Age Groups: School-Age Children (5–12 years) (May assist with preschool field trips when needed.)

​Description: Safely transports children to and from school, field trips, and other approved destinations. Conducts daily vehicle safety inspections, maintains accurate transportation records, ensures children are safely loaded and unloaded, and provides a positive, caring, and dependable experience.

Float Teacher / Substitute

Pay Range: $14 – $17/hr​

​

Age Groups: Flexible — covers infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age classrooms.

​​Description: Provides classroom coverage during staff absences or busy times. Assists in enrichment programs, daily routines, and ensures smooth operation across all age groups.

Program Coordinator / Director

Pay Range: $20.50 – $23.50/hr

​Age Groups: All Ages (focuses on enrichment programs)​

​

​Description: Designs, coordinates, and oversees enrichment programs. Ensures activities are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with developmental goals.
