POLICIES & PROCEDURES

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

At Carter Kidz Learning Center, your child’s health and safety is our top priority. We maintain a clean, secure, and nurturing environment through:

-
Daily sanitation of toys, learning tools, and common areas
-
Strict illness and exclusion policies to prevent the spread of contagious conditions
-
Regular emergency drills and secure entry systems
-
Supervision by trained and certified staff in CPR and First Aid.
-
Parents are encouraged to report illnesses and follow our sick child policy, which includes a 24-hour symptom-free rule before returning.

BEHAVIOR GUIDANCE & DISCIPLINE
We believe in positive reinforcement and redirection. We do not use physical punishment or verbal abuse. When guidance is needed, we:

-
Use age-appropriate explanations of behaviors
-
Encourage problem-solving and emotional expression
-
Communicate consistently with parents
-
Repeated behavioral issues will involve a written behavior report and a parent conference to create a support plan.
Pickup after closing hours (6:00 PM) will result in a $1 per minute late fee. Please call if you are running behind.

-
Habitual lateness may result in termination of enrollment
-
Please notify us by 9:00 AM if your child will be absent
-
No refunds for days missed due to illness, vacation, or weather closures
LATE PICKUP & ABSENCE

DROP-OFF PICK-UP PROCEDURES
-
